【Service Education Course】Please upload supporting documents and complete an experience report before May 26, 2025.
Scope of Application:
International students whose Student No. begins with 105-112, and take the service
education course this semester.
Please note that the
Service Education page will be closed on
Monday, May 26, 2025, 11:55 p.m. After the Service Education page is
closed, the Student Campus Life Guidance Section will begin the review process.
Please
DO complete the following steps on the Information System before the Service
Education page is closed.
After
logging in to the Information System, please click “Service Education” and then
click the title of the course you take.
(1)
Section
I → Upload and submit supporting documents for review (please see below for
correct formats).
(2)
Section
II → Upload and submit supporting documents for review.
(3)
Section
III → Complete and submit an experience report and a feedback questionnaire for
review (plagiarism and the use of text generators are strictly prohibited).
If you
fail to upload supporting documents or complete an experience report before the
Service Education page is closed, you will be considered not qualified, and you
will fail the service education course this semester.
After the Service Education
page is closed on May 26, 2025, the Student Campus Life Guidance Section will
begin the review process. Afterward, students can check the review result, make
corrections (not applicable to those who are found to have plagiarized content
or have used a text generator), and upload supplementary documents. Regarding
the exact date on which the Service Education page is open again for
submission, please visit the website at: (https://sa1.isu.edu.tw/news).
Notice:
Section I:
(1)
Upload
the video-watching record that certifies you have watched videos on ISU Moodle
for at least 12 hours. User instructions: (https://is.gd/k5eLhd) (Available only to international
students who take the service education course this semester and are unable to
apply for membership to Taipei e-Campus)
(2)
Before
uploading the video-watching record, please make sure that the file name
contains only alphabetical or numerical characters and that the file format is
in PDF or any of the graphics file formats. Otherwise, the file cannot be
opened or read.
(3)
Please
DO click “Submit,” otherwise your record will not be reviewed, and therefore,
the hours fulfilled will not be recognized.
Section II:
(1)
The deadline for
application for participating in public service activities (including offering
assistance with the graduation ceremony) has passed. Late application will NOT be
considered, and the hours of on-campus public service applied for after the
deadline will NOT be recognized. (If you have applied
in advance and fulfilled the required number of hours, please upload the
completed Application Form for Public Service Participation before the
deadline.)
(2)
Regarding the
hours of on-campus public service you have successfully applied for, please
fulfill those hours as scheduled, and the deadline is May 26, 2025(no
extension will be granted). If you haven’t
fulfilled the required number of hours this semester, you will fail the service
education course this semester, and the hours completed will NOT be retained or
transferred to the following semesters.
(Example 1: If you have fulfilled only 8 hours of public service,
you fail the service education course this semester. The 8 hours will not be
retained or transferred to the following semesters.)
(Example 2: If you have fulfilled 16 hours of public service, but
you forget to upload the completed Application Form for Public Service
Participation or fail to make corrections after the form is rejected, the 16
hours will not be retained or transferred to the following semesters.)
(3)
After
completing the hour(s) applied for, please have the service-receiving unit sign
the Application Form for Public Service Participation with its official seal,
and then upload the form to the Information System. If there are any
corrections made on the form, please have the service-receiving unit sign on
the corrected part(s) with its official seal.
(4)
Please
DO click “Submit,” otherwise the review process will not begin, and the hours
completed will not be recognized or retained/transferred to the following
semesters.
Section III:
(1)
Please
DO NOT plagiarize any phrases or sentences written by others or appearing in
articles on the Internet or use any text generators. Those
who are found to have plagiarized content or have used a text generator are not
permitted to revise their experience reports, and they will fail the service
education course this semester and have to retake the course.
(2)
You
may proceed to complete the experience report and the feedback questionnaire
right after uploading supporting documents for Section I and II. Your experience report
will NOT be reviewed until you have completed both Section I and II.
