1. Demerit Points Directly Affect Conduct Grades: Merit and demerit records for the current semester will be integrated into the conduct grade calculation (demerit deductions directly affect the final score). Students with a conduct score below 60 will be dismissed in accordance with university regulations. Please pay close attention to your record.

2. Demerit Offsetting Deadline for This Semester: Students with demerit records must strictly monitor the offsetting schedule. To apply for demerit offsetting for the current (115-1) semester, the completed "Campus Service Proof Form" must be submitted to the Life Guidance Section before Monday, January 4, 2027.

• 1. In accordance with Articles 2 and 5 of the University Student Conduct Assessment Regulations, the baseline conduct grade is 85 points. The final score (maximum 95 points) is calculated based on evaluations from the department chair (institute director) and class advisor, combined with merit and demerit adjustments. A score below 60 will result in dismissal. Point adjustment standards are as follows:
  (1) Merit Additions: Major Merit (+7.5 points), Minor Merit (+2.5 points), Commendation (+1 point).
  (2) Demerit Deductions: Major Demerit (-7.5 points), Minor Demerit (-2.5 points), Warning (-1 point).
• 2. In accordance with Article 16 of the University Student Incentive and Disciplinary Regulations, to encourage self-improvement, students may replace official demerit and warning disciplinary actions with campus service:
  Students can download the "Campus Service Proof Form" from the Life Guidance Section website. After completing service in campus units, submit the form to the Life Guidance Section before Monday, January 4, 2027, to complete the demerit offsetting process for the 115-1 semester. Demerit records from previous semesters can also be offset through campus service; however, conduct grade deductions for past finalized semesters cannot be retroactively adjusted. Offsetting standards are as follows:

  (1) Warning: Replaced by 4 hours of campus service.
  (2) Minor Demerit: Replaced by 12 hours of campus service.
  (3) Major Demerit and Special Cases: Handled in accordance with relevant regulations specified in special campus service projects approved by the Disciplinary Committee or the President.
